Today I would like you to meet the colourful inhabitants of the amazing Ferme du Moulin in the tiny village Buding, in Lorraine, France. The farm was holding a cozy market of local products such as home-made bread, sausages, jams. A honey producer and veggie-grower from the neighbourhood were present too...
I really enjoyed making a round and discovering the animals living there: the white peacocks were lazy in the green grass, the funny turkey cock was making weird noise all the time (being annoyed by the people watching him), the black baby pigs were sleeping (keeping each other warm by being one above the other)...
...the beautifully coloured cows were enjoying the shadow of the blooming apple trees...
I love all the animal shots! The peacock looks so regal and the sleeping black pigs are so cute! thank you for the virtual tour :-)
ReplyDeleteI've not seen cows coloured like theses. They make a wonderful picture resting there under the blossoming trees.
ReplyDeleteThe white peacock is something rare but your picture of the black pigs on top of each other is super.
ReplyDeleteGreetings,
Filip
Jana, prachtig en wat een groot nest met de zwarte varkens.
ReplyDeleteIk heb net onder quote rechts in je blog gelezen:

Beautiful peacocks. I didn't know there were white ones? I would have really enjoyed this market. Sweet lil' piggies!
ReplyDeleteLots of stuff to look at and enjoy on your trip to the Farmer's market ! Those little pigs keeping each other warm are so cute. I wish the peacock's feathers were spread out so we can see their beauty at their best, nonetheless they are cute !

Hello Jana,
ReplyDeleteVery nice to see all the living round the farm. Great to see!!
Many greetings,
Marco
Wow, what a big black family! Wonderful shots.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend,
Mirthe
Good evening, Jana!
ReplyDeleteThe piglets and the lambs are simply adorable. I think I'd be crazy enough to sleep next to them in the hay! I can't imagine how can anyone still eat them after seeing how they peacefully sleep there!
I like the bucolic picture with the two cows resting under the shade of the apple tree. It speaks of times of peace and equilibrium, where everything has its own, well known, role and meaning.
Warm greetings and enjoy the rest of the weekend!
Very nice market, dear Jana!I like very much your shots. Wish you a good w.e. Kisses from Italy.
