This year we decided to try a flight to the tulp fields starting from
Rotterdam airport so we could fly over Leiden, Bollenstreek (the sping
flower area), den Haag and Scheveningen...In this post I will take you
onboard wth me and will show the fantastic view over the old town of
Leiden (first pic), our cute plane (Cessna, four-seater) and the spring colours
seen from the air! Enjoy the view+have a good flight:-)))
For all the curious ones who want to do the
same: we flew with Lionair, I do recommend them for this
1-hour-sightseeing-tulip-flight.
PS: More aerial shots to come in part 2...

Glorious pictures Jana - not many people get a view like like.
I'm used to seeing patchwork fields in Australia - but they don't have colours like yours!! Fantastic!!
Aah, the tulip fields - I've only seen them from the ground and they seemed to stretch on forever - what a fantastic treat to see them on your flight in the air - this is indeed lovely. Jana, are you going to be in Amsterdam for the big celebration? Have a great day.
Very spectacular post thanks for sharing. I liked all of your photos and nice to see tulip fileds from the air. Groetjes, Miklos

Amazing aerial view! Beautifully captured fields/burst of color:)
Oh wow. As in, WOW. I love how the field looks like it's been colored with crayons!
It made me think--it's so amazing how they can cover huge patches of land with all these colorful flowers :)
I feel like a bird looking at your wonderful photos.
Happy weekend!
